You would love the TARDIS! Semisentient ships are love. So, so much love. And, actually, this clip from the end of Boom Town (http://noume.net/vids/boomtownclip.mov) was the first bit of New Doctor Who I had ever seen. Exposition-y and deeply weird, but... sentient ship love! And the Doctor was deliciously creepy and notquitehuman. (About 6 minutes, 14Mb, .mov)
And the Doctor and the Master--they have that sort of best-enemies, closer-than-friends, deeply-damaged-and-deeply-damaged-by-each-other vibe that just fascinates me, so, so much. A lot of people read it as sexual, and it's not hard to see why (http://noume.net/vids/thesoundofdrumsclip.mov); it's intense, intimate, and New Series Master has to be one of the most hedonistic men on the face of the planet. (That particular clip is about 5 minutes long and 10Mb, from the The Sound Of Drums, one of the last three episodes of the third series.)

Edited for my getting words mixed up
