I swear, half the reason I write fanfic is to explore the things the show glosses over. There was so much chance for character exploration and (re)building, but Fallen and Homecoming were much more focused on being action-y and transitional. Which I can't absolutely fault them for, as it's a TV show and this is how these things go, but still.
