Hah! I hadn't intended this one to come out swinging, really. (Long ago, I did a start big four-part project which was a much more pointed critique of military thinking. It got abandoned for a lot of reasons, among them the fact that it was desperately unsubtle, markedly polemic, incredibly melodramatic, and just too damn depressing for me to want to work on for any length of time.)

In any case, I feel like SG1 did a really great job at setting the stage for a ton of ethical discussions to be had. And they certainly had fun with some of them, and I wish that attention to complexity had been more consistent.
