eeeeee, this is wonderful! :) I love them both here -- Nash casually invading her personal space, Petra burying herself in projects to avoid thinking about things, the tense undercurrents and the comfortable familiarity they can't quite lose. I also like the hints of broader plot stuff: the other colony, Petra's models (what's she making, can I ask? :D).

I'm so glad you came back to fill this prompt, because it is really lovely to get a bit more of them!
