Oooh, fascinating. So alien, and Daniel trying to catch it and knowing he can't quite, and Jack willing to give him those precious few minutes.

This place, powered by that searing sun, might still have been designed with something for human voices to hear.

And the beautiful thing is that even if Daniel still isn't quite himself - and the others know that, too - he is still trying to listen.
