Summary: On an incredible world, SG1 finds a weapon capable of defeating the Goa'uld. But the price of attaining it may be too high. They may have to sacrifice one of their own.

Thank you! ...you know, I always forget about Siler's appearance in this fic until someone points it out to me, oddly enough. Possibly he's just even better at fading into the background than Teal'c is.

Hilariously, and somewhat related to the Siler thing, when I went back to edit the fic after so many years of being on hiatus, I was surprised at how much foreshadowing and echoing back and forth I'd put in. Though I think my favorite is Jack's line about the dosimeters, and then Siler actually handing them out later on.

And on a completely unrelated note, every time I see your icon loop, I get the sense that Daniel tried to hand Jack some awesome fanfic and Jack just turned around and walked away. XD
