This is utterly fantastic. Brilliant. I LOVE the turnaround so it's Sam instead of Daniel, so it's Carter's MIND that is on the line (almost as bad as Daniel's), and her knowing it and begging Jack to protect her, but him doing all the wrong things (them seeing her off...making it look like collusion) for all the right reasons...and not seeing till now. The planet, the pyramid, the "Don't let Daniel translate himself off the side," it's all so strong and excellent. I love this.
