Oh god, yes. The power to fix things (or at least pointedly call canon out on things) is an intoxicating one. And quite possibly a really interesting socially significant one.

Man, I know this feeling. I'm so rarely involved in any TV, these days, which is especially aggravating when it seems like all of my friends get into something or I hear fantastic things about something all over the place. But there's so much time involved in getting into a series, and I have so much other stuff I should be doing. <_<
