Do we ever see the Burkes' guest bedroom on the show, or is it just an accepted fact of fanon that they have one?

Basically, can I just make stuff up about its layout, etc.?

No, we have not. (At least not that I remember.) Actually, I think the only time we saw more of their upstairs than the inside of their bedroom is in the pilot, when you see the hallway and bathroom. (ETA: And the inside of the house looks different in the pilot anyway!) Otherwise, the layout of the place is pure fanon.
