I made a bingo generator!

...okay, this is nothing which does not already exist on the internet, but I was bored and I wanted to build it. I plan on adding functionality that will pre-load lists of things like tropes, kinks, genres, dramatic situations, etc; problem is, first I have to generate those lists, or find someone who's already generated them who'll let me use them. XD

At some point, I may also add support for 3x3, 7x7, even 9x9 grids, and other fancy stuff like that. Maybe even styling. In the mean time, if you find yourself desperately needing a Bingo card this Holiday season and unwilling to google a generator, here you go! Let me know if you see any bugs. ;)

What kinds of lists would you like? I am good at making lists.

Are you going to code for this to allow mixing different categories for more variety?

I was thinking mostly about lists which are good as writing prompts – themes, dramatic situations, tropes, kinks, etc. (Though, I realized at some point while making this that it could be used as a kind of "Unfuck your Habitat" motivational tool, as well; you could easily stock a list with things like "Wipe down stovetop" and "make bed" and "clean out fridge" and set up some sort of system to reward yourself for Bingos, etc.) I was thinking that quotes with attributions might also be cook, but I feel like that might be far too wide a field.

...you know, I hadn't thought of coding it to allow for multiple categories, but I bet I could figure out how. *g* I don't have a lot of experience in jQuery, which is what handles loading pre-made lists, but part of the fun is learning new things! And jQuery is quite approachable.

Hopefully this is a tool that will get a lot of use in creative ways! (And if you want to nominate any lists of cleaning tasks, feel free to. ^_^)

There! It should allow selection of multiple lists, now. ...of course, the list I had for testing and debugging purposes was my own list of fiction kinks, many of which probably don't make sense to anyone but me, but they worked fine as a proof of concept.

(There's still a bit of cleanup to be done, but I think the major functionality for this is in place.)

I have some that I originally wrote for a different bingo fest, that aren't going to be used immediately. And I can make new ones too.
