December posting meme!

I am feeling (perhaps unwisely) confident in my ability to get (non-fiction) stuff done! So I think I'll do a modified version of the December Days Posting Meme, modified on
sholio's post:
Fandom stuff will go on
magibrain, other stuff will go on
magistrate. I reserve the right not to answer anything, but, y'know.
I am still working on all of the prompts from the Trick or Treat meme! I really am. I just had a week of sickness and then two weeks of depressive cycle, and at the moment rambling on about real-life stuff seems less terrifying than producing fiction. It'll clear up. Even if I may be delivering Halloween treats in January. :/

no dates, no specific commitments to respond (that is, you may or may not get an answer), but ...
... is there anything you want to ask me about? Anything you'd like me to talk about in a post? [...]if there is anything you'd like me to talk about, feel free to prompt me and maybe I'll make a post about it. :)
Fandom stuff will go on

Date: 2014-12-04 10:06 pm (UTC)Writing! How do you write so fast? (I know I am asking you this in a post where you are apologizing for not writing fast enough.) But where do you get your ideas? Do you begin knowing what a story will be about with only faint glimmers or the plot, or do you start with a plot and then come to what the story is about while you're writing it? Strengths? Weaknesses? Do you work on targeted improvement in your writing (say, you are bad at X, and so you will write a story that is all X), or do you just write a lot to improve? [insert other writing-related questions here]
Thoughts on the other Final Fantasies? Which ones have you played? Which ones did you like the most, which ones the least, and why? (I have a one track mind, as you can tell.)
Hope that you feel better soon!
